For 75 years, the family-owned and operated ACME Glass has been proudly serving residents of the Brazos Valley with their full range of glass products, repair and installation services, and exceptional warranty. With an abundance of positive customer reviews and a company culture that also prioritizes giving back to the community, it is no wonder that ACME continues to be a local favorite year after year.

Brothers Leonard and Bruce Morehead founded the company in Bryan back in 1946, working long hours to establish themselves in the community, making loyal customers along the way. By the 1960s, the Moreheads had moved beyond automotive glass repair and branched out, supplying local homes and companies with glass products and services.

As the years went by, their families grew as did various members’ involvement at ACME Glass. As they amassed experience, they also took on more business, eventually expanding into College Station. Today, the company boasts three locations and 35 employees.

With their unique knowledge of custom glass and acrylic, ACME Glass has been given a significant opportunity to help keep the community safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Early last year, ACME was asked to make Plexiglas® intubation boxes for medical personnel in Houston area hospitals. Soon after, their team built more for local B/CS doctors, many of which were donated. They have also created sneeze guards for many businesses in the area, which are glass or acrylic partitions that allow for safer interactions between employees and customers.
